Foods to enhance sperm health & quality

The value of sperm and their counts has a close relation to the nature and type of foods that people consume. For this reason, it has been recommended that men who are hopeful to have babies and improve their fertilities should have a balanced diet high in fruits and vegetables. Antioxidant rich foods such as tomatoes green leafs and oranges play an essential role in boosting sperm count.

Zinc is another essential component that plays a significant role in contributing towards healthy sperm count. Zinc can be easily and largely obtained from foods such as seafood, cereals and meat.

On the other hand, excessive caffeine is said to have detrimental effects on healthy sperm count production. Intake of too much alcohol and drugs can also negatively harm production.  Sperm count can be naturally increased today by consuming a healthy intake of vitamins such as vitamin C, vitamin B12  and vitamin E. Herbal sperm enhancing supplements are very effective too as they naturally ensure a higher sperm count in addition to healthier sperms.
